Amelia Miller

Amelia Miller researches technology and intimacy, with a particular focus on human–AI relationships, anthropomorphic behavior in large language models, and AI advice. She holds an MSc in the Social Science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford.

Previously, Amelia was a vice president at Insight Partners, where she focused on early- and growth-stage technology investments and helped build the firm’s AI governance practice. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard, she earned a BA in Social Theory and Computer Science. Alongside her research, Amelia runs a coaching practice helping people intentionally shape their relationships with AI systems.
